Last night saw the reopening of Tyneside Cinema. To coincide with the launch, moShine have provided a short amusing animation (written and directed by Richard Fenwick) to be shown before all future films.
Recently moShine completed a 6 minute animation for ONLY-PIC of Japan, in correlation with the Beijing Olympic Games.
The short is based around the fictional sport of 'Animal Lifting' and saw us collaborating once more with director Richard Fenwick as well as Tokyo based director Riichiro Mashima. It is to be screened in Japanese cinemas making up part of a feature film.
Last Thursday saw moShine attending the North East Digital Awards event. Our entry went up against the best of the North East's digital media innovators, winning 'Best Experimental Use of Online Video & Animation'.
Congratulations to our friends at Kahua Music, Beatsuite, Back2Front and The Bridge Club for also picking up awards.

On Saturday moShine attended the RTS Awards for the first time this year, courtesy of the University of Teesside, and were nominated in the 'Best Production for a Target Audience' category for our acclaimed '50,000 Pairs of Feet Can't Be Wrong' production.
We look forward to participating in future events and were pleased to see Twenty First Century Media win 'Moving Image Company of the Year'. Well done!

moShine have been busy developing a punchy and dynamic presentation for a major POS manufacturer and design studio in Newcastle. With a combination of motion graphics and visual effects we represented how two companies work seamlessly together.
moShine also put the finishing touches to a showreel of games and digital media companies.
After sitting on the preliminary judging panel for its 'Students Animation Awards', moShine attended Animex 2008 - International Festival of Animation and Games. moShine were fortunate to meet a whole host of talented newcomers and experienced professionals from animation and games studios such as Sony Pictures Animation, Valve, Framestore CFC, Dreamworks, Disney and Pixar. It was great meeting you all!
In the previous couple of months moShine have produced a colourful animation for a major retail client, attended the London performance of ’50,000 Pairs of Feet Can’t Be Wrong’ at the Barbican, made a series of guest lectures and tutorials at the University of Teesside, and applied a creative touch to a pitch for the new Institute of Digital Innovation.
